The AJID Foundation is committed to help further the educational goals of the communities we serve. As a part of our commitment, we are launching the inaugural AbdulJabbar Ifeoluwa Dansalami Scholarship. We offer scholarships to highly qualified and outstanding students currently pursuing undergraduate degrees. We hope to prepare students for success in school and work life.
The AJID foundation Scholarship honors the late Abdul Jabbar Ifeoluwa Dansalami who was an advocate for education and community service.
Be of Black/African-American or Latino/Latina/Latinx/Hispanic heritage or origin
Be a first or second-year student currently enrolled full-time in an accredited college or university in the U.S.
Demonstrate interest in pursuing a career in any field/study
Be a person who actualizes the core values of the foundation: Equity, Inclusiveness, Integrity, and Compassion.
AJID received many qualified applicants for the inaugural AJID scholarship fund. We were able to grant two outstanding candidates $500 each to support their college educational needs.
AJID Foundation is a volunteer-led, non-profit organization that works to create access through grantmaking and investments in health research, education, human services and community development to foster pathways for communities to improve their life circumstances.
